What kind of events can I host at the Revel Room?

we host weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, celebrations of life, book launches, holiday dinners, birthday parties, corporate meetings, and many other varieties of gatherings. let us know what you have in mind!

What is the capacity of the Revel Room?

Our central event space can hold up to 85 for a seated dinner.

What is included?

85 white chairs / 40 black chairs
10 wooden rectangle tables
6 cocktail tables (low or high)
lounge furniture
Sound system (speakers and microphone)
Live plants

What is the difference between full service and self-serve?

full service includes assistance from a venue manager including a planning meeting, floor plan and timeline assistance, day-of venue furniture set up, room reset at the end of the rental, and a venue cleaning. A day-of venue coordinator will be on-site to assist with your event. full service is best for all sizes of gatherings when food and beverages are served or where a room flip is needed (ceremony to reception or reception to dance floor). it is for people who prefer to enjoy their event without doing all the work.

self-serve includes the event space provided as-is for self-set up and clean up and self-management on the day-of. certain Venue requirements apply for cleaning up and resetting the room. communication with the venue manager is virtual prior to the event day. a day-of point of contact will be available. self-serve is best for small groups with short-term gatherings, limited food and beverage, and a single room layout. it is for people who prefer to be more hands-on managing their event from start to finish.

What's the parking situation?

there is a small parking lot behind the venue for your vips. there is also plentiful free street parking on Central avenue and on 23rd street.

Is the Revel Room handicap accessible?

YES. the venue is on ground level. The restrooms are large, single stall, ADA compliant restrooms.

is There an in-house sound system and projector?

We have a sound system with installed speakers and a wireless microphone. we also have a portable projector that can be projected on the wall in either the central or university room.

When can I set up?

all set up and clean up must take place within your rental period.

Can I get ready for my wedding at the venue?

absolutely. If you are renting the full REvel Room or the University room, it comes with getting ready spaces that can be accessed at the start time of your rental.

Do you have a list of recommended vendors?

Do you offer decor, planning, or floral services?

Do you require an event coordinator?

No, but we highly recommend one. In our experience, hiring a day-of coordinator for wedding is one of the most important ingredients to a stress free event.
